ROCHESTER, NY: Howard J. Crowell, 47, of Lexington Avenue, Rochester, NY, died unexpectedly Thursday, August 19th, 2021, at Rochester General Hospital. He was born in Gowanda, on October 3, 1973, the son of John R. Crowell of Tennessee and Wendy L. (Richardson) Bird, of Sheridan.
Howard worked as a Carpenter most of his life and was currently working as a Contractor with Dolce Property Solutions, Rochester. He enjoyed golfing, playing basketball in a league, loved the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with family and friends. Howard was passionate and thoroughly enjoyed life.
Surviving besides his parents are his longtime girlfriend Julie McDonough of Rochester, two daughters, Katelynn Bender, Kaylee Sosinski, a son Madison Crowell, a brother, Chris (Amanda) Bird and a sister, Courtney Crowell. Also surviving are two grandchildren Lucas & Atlas Bender and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Howard & Phyllis Richardson and his paternal grandparents Ernest & Margaret Crowell.
Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM from where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock, with Rev. David Watson, pastor of Sheridan United Methodist Church, officiating.
