FREDONIA:  Dale S. Wilkinson, 71, of East Main Street, Fredonia, died suddenly, Thursday, July 22nd, 2021.  He was born in Forestville, on January 14, 1950, the son of the late Reta Wilkinson.

  Dale was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1968 and worked as a District Manager for Publix Supermarkets in Florida, for 45 years.  He was a very active member of the Church of the Redeemer in Sarasota, Florida and attended Victory Baptist Church, Fredonia.  Dale loved spending time with his family and driving his mustang.

  Survivors include his wife Judith A. (Valvo) Wilkinson of Fredonia, whom he married on November 24, 2018, in Parish, Florida, a daughter, Anne Marie (Michael) Becker, of Perrysburg; five sons Sean (Heather) Wilkinson of Odessa, FL, Geoffrey (Emily) Wilkinson of Sarasota, FL, Brandon Cooper, of Indianapolis, IN; Nathan (Agata) Cooper, of Wroclaw, Poland; Jordan (Pamela) Cooper, of Dunkirk; Dale is also survived by two brothers, Terry (Debbie) Ball, of Bradenton, FL; and Merritt Morgan, of Sarasota, FL.  Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.  Besides his mother he was predeceased by his grandparents Burton & Florence Wilkinson, who helped raise him and a brother Dane Wilkinson.

  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday morning, August 14th at 11 o’clock from Victory Baptist Church, 10659 South Roberts Road, Fredonia, with Rev. Patrick Burke officiating.

  The family suggests memorials may be made either to Victory Baptist Church, 10659 S. Roberts Road, Fredonia, NY 14063 or to the Church of the Redeemer, 222 S. Palm Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34236.

  1. Judy and Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you today as you celebrate Dale’s life. May the Lord continue to give you strength during your time of grief. We are all better for knowing Dale and having him in our lives even though it was so brief. Bless you all, our sincere sympathies!
