Obituary Notice- Eleanor C. Tyler

FORESTVILLE:  Eleanor C. Tyler, 87, of Mixer Road, Forestville, died Thursday, November 7th, at UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA.  She was born in the City of Dunkirk, on October 31, 1926, the daughter of the late Henry J. and Alice (Salisbury) Tilley.

Mrs. Tyler was a graduate of Dunkirk High School, Class of 1945 and loved flowers, gardening and her home in Forestville.  Survivors include her husband Clark J. Tyler, whom she married January 5, 1946, in Grace Lutheran Church, Dunkirk, a daughter, Beverly Tyler, of Pinellas Park, FL, a son, Tim (Kathleen) Tyler, of Forestville and a brother Gene (Beatrice) Tilley of Dunkirk.  Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.  Besides her parents she was predeceased by 3 brothers Melvin, Harold & infant Ellsworth Tilley and by 4 sisters Winifred Gibner, Marie Tilley, Velma Hoover and infant Myrtle Tilley.

There will be no visitation observed.  Private Services were held at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville.  The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Forestville Fire Dept.     We are so sorry for your loss of your love one. I have known Elenor for so many years and have fond memories of her. She was one of my Mother’s best friends. Thoughts and prayers for the family…she will be missed by all who knew her.
