Obituary Notice – Larson E. Olsen

Forestville: Larson E. Olsen 69, of Forestville, died Wednesday January 22, 2025 at his residence with his daughter & granddaughter by his side. He was born in Buffalo on July 1, 1955, the son of the late Harry and Margaret (Sugg) Olsen, Sr.

  Larson was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1975. and was an Owner & Operator for H. Olsen & Sons Contractors Inc. of Forestville for 52 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, loved spending time at the pond, gardening and eating egg sandwiches.

  Survivors include a daughter Lisa Bergman, a sister Jackie (Ken) Kerstetter, and a brother Gerald (Sue) Olsen, all of Forestville. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Travis & Ryley Ray, Ridley Bergman, Veda Spitale and a great granddaughter; Lillith Darling. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his loving companion Debbie Saia who died in 2021, a sister Valerie Robinson, three brothers; Garry Olsen, Sr., Harry Olsen, Jr. & Glenn Olsen and a great granddaughter Everlee Blake Darling who died June 5, 2022.

  A Celebration of Life will be held on what would have been his 70th birthday, July 1, 2025 at his residence.

 The family requests that you plant a tree in his memory.  Arrangements are by Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville.
