FORESTVILLE: Robert A. Tofani, 67, of Forestville, formerly of 62nd Street, Ridgewood, NY, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Saturday, September 14th, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Camden, NJ on March 19, 1957, the son of the late Edward and Beatrice (Corson) Tofani.
Robert served in the Air Force as an A1C and worked for NAPA Auto Parts in Long Island. He enjoyed playing computer games, liked fast cars, watching Sci fi and was excited about his new cat “Ronan”.
Robert was considerate, thoughtful, generous and very proud of the military. As he would say “I’m not mad, my reality is just different from yours.”
Survivors include a daughter, Alexandra Tofani, two step sons Ricky and Philippe, all of Queens, NY, and two brothers, Edward (Janet) Tofani, and David Tofani, both of Forestville. Also surviving are a few nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Monday morning, September 23rd at 11 o’clock from Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville, with Rev. Michael Pollock, pastor of Gage Chapel Community Church, officiating. Military services will be conducted by members of J. Carter Knapp American Legion Post #953, Forestville.
