Obituary Notice – Marjorie Anne Youngberg

JAMESTOWN: Marjorie Anne Youngberg, 88, formerly of Lodi Street, Forestville passed away Tuesday, October 17th, 2023. She was born in Versailles on April 24, 1935, daughter of the late Lenn D. and Mabel (Snyder) Perkins.

  She graduated from Gowanda High School, Class of 1952 and worked as an Account Clerk for Forestville Central School Forestville, for 22 years.

  Marjorie was a member of Forestville United Methodist Church, the Round-A-Bouts Home Bureau, Fingers of Hope, was past President & former member of J. Carter Knapp American Legion Post #953, Ladies Auxiliary, Forestville and Chautauqua County Educational Association of Personnel.

  She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles & especially her grandchildren.

  Survivors include two daughters, Lisa (Glenn) Monacelli, of Cassadaga; Sheila (Scott) Kyser, of Stow; a son, Brian (Deborah) Youngberg, of Forestville. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Cody (Olivia) Kyser, Mitchell (Theresa) Kyser, Bradley J. (Genevieve) Monacelli, Kelsey Anne (John) (Kyser) Morgante, Sydney Anne Youngberg, Morganne Monacelli, Logan Youngberg, ten great grandchildren, her yorkie “Roxy” and several loving nieces & nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Larry Youngberg, whom she married April 14, 1956 in Gowanda and who died July 18, 2006, by a brother Charles Perkins and a sister Helen Perkins.

  Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Friday from 5-8 PM from where Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o’clock. Private Interment will be in Forestville Cemetery.

  The family suggests memorials may be made to the Forestville Food Pantry, PO Box 309, Forestville, NY 14062.
