SILVER CREEK: Barbara A. Krzyzanowski, 87, a resident of Chautauqua Nursing & Rehab, Dunkirk, formerly of Silver Creek, passed away Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 at her residence, following a lengthy illness with Dementia. She was born in Quantico, VA on September 27, 1933, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Bertha (Foster) Kennedy.
She was a graduate of Silver Creek High School and worked as a Housekeeper for the former Lake Shore Hospital Irving for 10 years, retiring in 1999.
Barbara enjoyed roller skating and bingo.
Survivors include four daughters, Peggy Gard, of Silver Creek; Susan (Daniel) Kellogg, of Dayton, TX; Debra Mniszewski, of Dunkirk; Sally Shanks, of Silver Creek; three sons James Heald, of Dunkirk; Arthur Krzyzanowski, Jr., of Sinclairville; Michael Krzyzanowski, of Huffman, TX; and a sister, Betty Jane (George) Gard, of Silver Creek. Also surviving are twenty-one grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Arthur Krzyzanowski, Sr., whom she married on October 15, 1988 in Humble, Texas and who died in 2018, and a sister Arlene Heidmuller.
