FORESTVILLE: Theresa J. “Terry” Scofield, 68, of Dye Road, Forestville, died Thursday, June 18th, 2020 at Dunkirk Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, following a short illness. She was born in Buffalo, on September 1, 1951, the daughter of the late Carl and Helen (Roudet) Monin.
Terry was a graduate of Buffalo State College, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and was an avid reader. Survivors include two sisters, Anne Przepiora, Catherine Rouin, four brothers, Robert,James, Paul, and Joseph Monin and sister in laws Linda Sturm and Peggy Daumen. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband James E. Scofield, whom she married on September 20, 1976 in the Town of Villenova and who died May 21, 2020.
A Private Funeral Service will be held in conjunction with her husband from Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville, with Rev. James Witherington, Jr., HOSPICE Chaplain, officiating.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Avenue, Lakewood, NY 14750.

Dear Monin and Scofield families. I am saddened for your loss. Terry was a bright light in the Joseph and Betty Fix family (6 cousins of Jim and Terry). She always brought sunshine to our lives, and will be missed. Sisters and sisters-in-law play such a special role in our lives. Our hearts go out to all the family and friends at this time.
