Obituary Notice – Deana M. King

KingDFORESTVILLE:  Deana M. King, 62, of Cedar Street Forestville, formerly of Farnham, died Wednesday, January 6th, 2016 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Syracuse, on February 1, 1953, the daughter of the late Kenneth John Paul and Vienna May (MacDougall) Derucher.

She was a devoted wife who loved her family, grandchildren and wildlife animals.  Mrs. King also enjoyed doing embroidery and watching hummingbirds.  Survivors include a son, Jerry (Jackie) King, of Forestville, a daughter, Grace (Jim) Frederickson, of Sweet Water, TX, 1 sister and 4 brothers.  Also surviving are 7 grandchildren Cody & Tyler King, Hunter & Cheyenne Brockman, Jessica, Erick & Jamie Frederickson, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.  Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband David D. King, whom she married on December 31, 1971 in Gowanda and who died January 29, 2015 and by 1 sister.

Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, from where a Catholic Burial Service will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock, with Rev. Daniel F. Fiebelkorn officiating.  Private Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery Forestville.

    So sorry to hear about this. I often wondered where they lived so I could go see them. At least now she is with Dave and can heal. My condolences to the family.
