Obituary Notice – Cheryl L. (Richter) Lidlow

LidlowCDUNKIRK:  Cheryl L. (Richter) Lidlow, 49, of Franklin Avenue, Dunkirk, formerly of Forestville, died Sunday, August 16th, 2015 at Buffalo General Hospital, following a short illness.  She was born in Dunkirk, on August 18, 1965, the daughter of Harold R. and Norley (Matter) Richter, Jr., of Forestville.

She attended Forestville Central School and worked in the Quality Control Department at Bailey Manufacturing Company, LLC Forestville, for 22 years.  At one time she was a foster parent, collected porcelain dolls & clowns and enjoyed making plastic canvas.

Surviving besides her parents are a son, Leon Lidlow, of Fredonia, two daughters, Amber Greene, of Forestville, Alicia Greene, of Dunkirk, five sisters, Denise  Olsen, Tammy (Garry) Olsen, Jr., Vickie (Chris Pope) Pfleuger, all of Forestville, Stacey (Chris) Kulpa, of Cassadaga, Kristy Butcher, of Brocton, two brothers, Robert Richter, and Randy (Kris) Richter, both of Forestville.  Also surviving are her companion for 30 years, Phillip Greene of Dunkirk, 3 grandchildren Briana, Jonathan & Kyle Eggleston and several nieces & nephews.  She was predeceased by her paternal & maternal grandparents and by her brother Harold “Butch” Richter, III.

Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, from where Funeral Services will be held Thursday morning, at 11 o’clock, with Rev. James D. Hankey, pastor of the Forestville United Methodist Church officiating.  Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery.
