Obituary Notice- Eric S. Sager

SagerEFORESTVILLE:  Eric S. Sager, 47, of Quarry Road, Forestville, died unexpectedly Thursday, February 26th, 2015, at his residence.  He was born in Dunkirk, on May 20, 1967, the son of Norman and Elizabeth (Kwasnieswki) Sager, of Silver Creek.

Mr. Sager was a graduate of Silver Creek Central School, Class of 1985 and was the Certified Owner Operator of Norm’s Towing & Recovery, LLC, Forestville, for 30 years.

He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church Silver Creek and a life member of the NRA.  Mr. Sager was dedicated to his work & his family.

Surviving besides his parents are his wife Jodi A. (Hartloff) Sager of Forestville, whom he married in Maui, Hawaii, a daughter, Cecilee Sager and son, Justin Sager, both of Forestville, a sister, Melodee (John) Muccigrosso, of Orland, FL and a brother, David (Kathy) Sager, of Silver Creek.  Also surviving are several cousins, aunts & uncles.

Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, from where Prayer Services will be held Monday morning at 9 o’clock followed by A Mass of Christian Burial from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, 165 Central Avenue, Silver Creek, at 10 o’clock, with Rev. Daniel Fiebelkorn, pastor officiating.

    I was so sad to hear about Eric. He had the most infectious smile.I will always remember what a sweet guy he was. I’m so sorry for his family, you lost a wonderful guy way to soon. My heart goes out to all of you.

    Sager Family, We remember back to pre-k when Eric would always pick Justin up in the tow truck and the smile on both their faces. His love for his children and family always showed. He was a good man and always willing to lend a helping hand. May you find peace in all the wonderful memories you have.

    My thoughts and prayers for the family and his close friends. Eric was one the nice guy in our high school. So friendly and out going. He was in always smiling. He was in a few of my classes in high school.
