FORESTVILLE: Edward M. Conway, 75, of Forestville, passed away with his family by his side from a short illness at Brooks Memorial Hospital on January 15th, 2014. He served in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne, then worked in printing & textiles and retired as an Ironworker for the former Dunkirk Radiator.
Edward (Ed) loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. He had many passions & hobbies such as: photography, gardening, nature, history, science, building furniture, hunting, fishing and NASCAR.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years Joan A. Conway, a son John (Jennifer) Conway and a daughter, Kelley (Brad) Jesionowski. He is also survived by extended family Henry & Janet Smith, Justin Ernst & Charles Berns and many other family & friends.
A Memorial Service followed by a light lunch will be held Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 2-5 pm at the Pine Valley VFW Post #2522, Rt. 83, Cherry Creek. Arrangements are by Riles & Woolley Funeral Home Forestville. To post condolences go to www.rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com
