ANGOLA: Melinda Anne Gustafson, 48, of Lakeshore Road, Angola, died Thursday, October 10th, at her residence. She was born in Jamestown, on December 13, 1964, the daughter of Donna E. (Fuss) Wilson, of Kennedy and Dennis W. Wilson, of Sinclairville. Ms. Gustafson received an Associates Degree from JCC in Business.
Surviving besides her parents are two sons Jason Kostyk, of Virginia, Daniel Gustafson & a daughter, Emily Gustafson, both of Kennedy and a sister, Lissa Wilson, of Jamestown. Also surviving is her long-time companion David Keem of Angola and 2 aunts, June Panek of Fredonia & Jeanne Sobecki of Forestville. She was predeceased by her brother Terry Wilson, who died in 1993.
Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Saturday afternoon from 1-3 pm, from where Memorial Services will be held at 3 o’clock, with Rev. James D. Hankey, pastor of the Forestville United Methodist Church, officiating. Private Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Forestville Cemetery. I am a classmate of Melinda and she was always very kind to me. I remember how she gained confidence in herself as she progressed through high school. She was very friendly and smiled alot. My condolences to her family and friends and you are all in my prayers. I found out about this at our 30th class reunion and was saddened. She was a great classmate.
