FREDONIA: Susan L. Ricotta, 55, of Houghton Street, Fredonia, died unexpectedly, Friday, June 21st, at her residence. She was born in Dunkirk, on July 22, 1957, the daughter of David and Joyce (Congdon) Ball, of Forestville.
Ms. Ricotta graduated from Forestville Central School, Class of 1975, currently worked as a Cashier for Dollar General, Silver Creek and previously worked for Wendy’s in Fredonia for 26 years.
Survivors include two sons Jason and Justin Ricotta, both of Fredonia and a brother, D. Jeffrey (Laura) Ball, of Forestville. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins and 2 nieces. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Adelbert & Dora Congdon and by paternal grandparents Howard & Alice Ball.
Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm from where Funeral Services will be held Thursday morning at 11 o’clock, with Rev. So sad to hear of Sue’s passing. She was a good friend to me while we were in school together. I will miss seeing her & her Mom at the casino. Love you Sue. You will be greatly missed.

Joyce and Dave, I don’t get the paper and just found out about Susan. I cannot imagine your grief and loss and I am so sad to hear this news.
