Obituary Notice- Susan L. Ricotta

FREDONIA:  Susan L. Ricotta, 55, of Houghton Street, Fredonia, died unexpectedly, Friday, June 21st, at her residence.  She was born in Dunkirk, on July 22, 1957, the daughter of David and Joyce (Congdon) Ball, of Forestville.

Ms. Ricotta graduated from Forestville Central School, Class of 1975, currently worked as a Cashier for Dollar General, Silver Creek and previously worked for Wendy’s in Fredonia for 26 years.

Survivors include two sons Jason and Justin Ricotta, both of Fredonia and a brother, D. Jeffrey (Laura) Ball, of Forestville.  Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins and 2 nieces.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Adelbert & Dora Congdon and by paternal grandparents Howard & Alice Ball.

Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm from where Funeral Services will be held Thursday morning at 11 o’clock, with Rev.     So sad to hear of Sue’s passing. She was a good friend to me while we were in school together. I will miss seeing her & her Mom at the casino. Love you Sue. You will be greatly missed.

    Wanted to tell you that I have known Sue for a few years now
    through Curves and thought she was such a hard working, good hearted person. May you find comfort in the many special memories
    of Sue that you hold in your hearts. So sorry for your loss.

    Joyce and Dave, I don’t get the paper and just found out about Susan. I cannot imagine your grief and loss and I am so sad to hear this news. Know you are in my prayers and that I will be thinking of you often in the coming weeks. May your family and Susan’s boys have the grace of God present as you work through this loss…

    My deepest condolences to the whole family.. Sue was a very sweet,caring and compassionate person.. I was in her classes and graduated with her at Forestville.. She was a wonderful friend to me and I will truely miss her.. Rest in Peace Sue..

    So very sorry to learn of Sue’s passing so young. I met Sue many years ago at TOPS and she was always so friendly and then I would see her at Wendy’s and she remembered me and always had a smile. My sympathy to her family~prayers are with you.
