FREDONIA: Shirley A. Moss, 75, a resident of Fredonia Place, Howard Street, Fredonia, formerly of Gowanda, died Sunday, June 9th, at Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk, following a brief illness. Ms. Moss was born in Gowanda, on July 30, 1937, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Florence (Dutton) Moss.
She attended Forestville Central School, worked as a Dietary Worker for the former JN Adam Developmental Center, Perrysburg, for 33 years, retiring in 1991, was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dunkirk, the Three Score & Five Senior Citizens Group of Gowanda and the Happy Travelers of Gowanda, she also volunteered many hours for Meals on Wheels in Gowanda. She is survived by several aunts, uncles & cousins.
Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Wednesday from 3-6 pm from where Funeral Services will be held Thursday morning, at 11 o’clock, with Pastor Trevor J. Hahn, of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dunkirk, officiating. Interment will follow in Cottage Cemetery.

We grew up together like sisters as you would tell everyone and
we sure had some fun times together. Many memories have surfaced since you have left us and I will hold these very close to my heart. May you rest in peace and God bless you for all that you did as a volunteer. You are missed by many.
