ARKWRIGHT: Cynthia Elliott, 60, of Miller Road, Arkwright, died Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo. She was born in Gowanda on March 17, 1966, the daughter of the late Clement and Judy (Gabel) Popielarz, Jr.
Cindy was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1984 and received her Associates Degree in Computer Science from Jamestown Community College in 1999. She worked as a Loan Officer for Lake Shore Savings & Loan in Dunkirk. Cindy enjoyed hand-sewing quilts and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Eric Elliott of Arkwright, whom she married on December 29, 1990 in her parent’s house, Town of Arkwright, a daughter Erica (Joseph) Baker, of Great Valley, a son Cody Elliott, of Arkwright, three sisters Charlene Greene, Tamela Griffen, Victoria Jackson, and a brother Mark Popielarz. Also surviving are two grandchildren; Michael and Gabriel Baker.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
