FORESTVILLE: Margaret M. Clark, 87, of Center Street, Forestville, formerly of Silver Creek, passed away Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024 at her residence following a short illness. She was born in Celoron, NY on November 8, 1936, the daughter of the late Clifford and Laura (Mower) Rugg.
Margaret worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant for the former Gowanda Psychiatric Center, Helmuth, NY, for 25 years. She was an area resident for most of her life and enjoyed crafting, baking and cooking. Survivors include two sons Wayne (Victoria) Phillips, Thomas (Kathleen) Clark, three sisters, Barbara Lincoln, Roberta (Larry) Carpenter, Linda Millet and a brother, George (Ann) Rugg. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Elmore Leon Phillips who died in 1964, her second husband Edward Otto Clark who died in 2017, a daughter Marie D. Hammond, two sisters; Sharon Press & Beverly Mower and a brother William Rugg. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 8th at 11 o’clock from Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville with Rev. David Watson, pastor of the Sheridan United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Villenova Cemetery.
