Obituary Notice – David G. Stalker

CHERRY CREEK:  David G. Stalker, 76, of Cherry Creek-Leon Road, Cherry Creek, passed away Monday, May 6th, 2024, due to complications of Diabetes.  He was born in Detroit, MI on May 7, 1947, the son of the Harold and Ruth (Krause) Porter.  He owned and operated Complete Auto Repair Service with his late wife LindaJo in the Buffalo are before moving to Cherry Creek for a total of 50 years.

  He was a member of the Cherry Creek Masonic Lodge #384 and enjoyed NASCAR, woodworking, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

  Survivors include a daughter, Eva (Bruce) Gadewoltz, of Forestville; three sons Michael Stalker, Sr., of Salamanca; Jason (Rhonda) Stalker, of Irving; Eric (Cindy) Stalker, of Leon; three sisters, Sandra (Kim) Keller, Laurie (Jeff) Passet, Sheryl McFarlane and a brother, Steven Stalker.  Also surviving are twelve grandchildren; Ian & Emily Gizowski, Aaron (Elaine) Popielarz, Gabbi & Macadam Gadewoltz, Michael, Alex and Jimmy Stalker, Kacey, Nik and Miranda Stalker and Ryan Jackson, five great grandchildren Myra, Lily, Oaklee, Leah & Maelynn, companion Trudy Metrowka, best friend Bruce White and several nieces & nephews.  Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife LindaJo (Saylor) Stalker whom he married in March 15, 1966 in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clawson, MI.

  Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Monday May 13th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, from where a Catholic Burial Service will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock, with Rev. Daniel Fiebelkorn, officiating.  A Masonic Service will be conducted by members of the Cherry Creek Masonic Lodge Monday evening at 7 o’clock in the funeral home.

    Dear Bro, gonna miss you but it comforts me knowing you are no longer struggling. You are with Linda and mom and daddy. I will be there for your kids for whatever they need. You were the best. Love you
