June was a wonderful lady. Chopper fondly remembers that time he was driving around looking for Ray on his farm, when “Mrs. Krupa” met him at the end of Ray’s farm driveway. With a shotgun across her lap, she asked, “and who are you?” Chopper immediately noticed the gun, and articulately replied, “Looking for Ray; I have a “Care Package” for him.” Probably the only time in Ray’s life that he was out of venison, so Chopper was helping his friend with some extra venison. My favorite memory of June was when I first met her at TOPS, with her sweet, soft voice, and caring personality. Years later, she was one of our best Black Berry customers. Ray had so much love and respect for his mother. He always made the morning “run” for “Ma.”
