SILVER CREEK: Dennis G. Lank, 69, of East Middle Road, Silver Creek, died unexpectedly, Monday, July 16th, at his residence. He was born in the Town of Busti, NY on November 23, 1942, the son of the late William and Leona (Kelwaski) Lank.
Mr. Lank worked as an Installer for Diefenbach Water Systems, Silver Creek, retiring in 1999. He was a Social Member of Silver Creek Firemen’s Association and enjoyed deer hunting.
Survivors include his wife Karen (King) Lank, of Silver Creek, a son, William Lank, of Silver Creek, a step son, James (Dianne) King, of Sheridan and a brother, Ronald (Jan) Lank, of Boynton Beach, FL. Also surviving is a nephew, Joseph Lank of Chicago, IL. There will be no visitation observed. Private Services will be at the convenience of family and Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Lake View Cemetery Jamestown.
The family suggests memorial donations may be made either to the Sheridan Fire Dept., PO Box 122, Sheridan, NY 14135 or to Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, 7540 North Gale Street, Westfield, NY 14787, or to Silver Creek Fire Dept. Emergency & Rescue Squad, 162 Central Avenue, Silver Creek, NY 14136.
