GREENHURST: Alice M. Scheskey, 84, a resident of Heritage Green, Greenhurst, NY, formerly of Gowanda, passed away Thursday, December 1st, 2022 at her residence. She was born in the Town of Sheridan, NY on January 27, 1938, the daughter of the late Walter and Blanche (Grantier) Scheskey.
Alice worked as a Housekeeper for the former Gowanda Psychiatric Center, Helmuth, NY, for 20 years and she also worked for the former Niagara Therapy Company in Brocton & Silver Creek. Alice was a former member of Forestville Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by two sisters Betty Julia Scheskey & Lorna Kerr and a foster sister Betty Crowell.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday afternoon, January 7th, 2023 at 1 o’clock from Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville, with Rev. Bruce M. Ellis, pastor of the Forestville Wesleyan Church, officiating. Private Interment will be in Forestville Cemetery.
