FORESTVILLE: Paul T. Ellis, 76, of Forestville, died, Monday, May 17th, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Lackawanna, NY on December 24, 1944, the son of the late Theodore S. and Loretta (Karg) Ellis. Paul was a graduate of West Seneca High School and attended Cornell University before enlisting in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a Farmer/Landscaper in Forestville, for almost 50 years. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with wood. He was also a Civil War enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife Karen (Brown) Ellis, of Forestville, whom he shared a special bond with for nearly 50 years, being married on June 10, 1972, in the Sheridan United Methodist Church, a sister, Marylyn (Tom) Pinnavaia and a brother, Ted (Barb) Ellis. Also surviving are multiple nieces & nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased two brothers John “Jack” Ellis, James “Jim” Ellis and a sister Carol Bruce.
There will be no prior visitation observed. Graveside Services will be held in the Pioneer Cemetery, Bennett State Road, Forestville on Friday at 1 o’clock, with Rev. David Watson, pastor of the Sheridan United Methodist Church, officiating.
