FORESTVILLE: Richard J. Grisanti, 85, of Water Street, Forestville, died unexpectedly, Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Forestville, on August 27, 1936, the son of the late John and Mary (Provenzo) Grisanti.
Richard was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1956 and served in the U.S. Army as a Cpl during the Korean War. He was a pilot and worked as an Aide for WNYDDSO in West Seneca. Richard was musically inclined and enjoyed playing the trumpet & organ.
Survivors include a brother, Angelo Grisanti, of Forestville and several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two sisters Martha R. Rider & Virginia M. Philbrick and two brothers Pvt. Francis P. Grisanti & Christy R. Grisanti.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Private Interment was in Forestville Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Ellis, pastor of the Forestville Wesleyan Church, officiating.
