RANDOLPH: Philip H. Schneider, 82, of Jamestown Street IRA, Randolph, formerly of Cherry Creek, died Monday, August 10th, 2020 at UPMC Chautauqua at WCA Hospital, Jamestown. He was born in Chicago, IL on December 2, 1937, the son of the late Howard and Alice (Wenban) Schneider.
Philip had a beautiful smile and a strong personality. He loved the attention he was given over the years by the several staff members, who cared for him. Philip loved dressing nicely and wearing his beloved Fedora hats. He also enjoyed ice cream socials, his morning coffee, head bumps (to express his love and appreciation) and back rubs. He is also survived by his beloved family of caregivers at the WNYDDSO, who cared for him for several years and who will miss him dearly.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother and a sister.
Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Thursday afternoon from 1-2 pm, from where Funeral Services will be held at 2 o’clock, with Pastor Fred Holdridge, officiating. Private Interment will be in Jolls Cemetery, Perrysburg.
