Obituary Notice – Alan R. Campaign

CampaignABROCTON:  Alan R. Campaign, 71, of Central Avenue, Brocton, formerly of Forestville, passed away Monday, May 25th, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in the Town of Hanover, on October 19, 1948, the son of the late Robert and Thelma (Cockburn) Campaign.

Alan graduated from Forestville Central School, Class of 1967 and worked as a Sales Associate at Valu Home Center, Fredonia.  He also previously worked as a Construction Tradesman for many years.  Alan enjoyed woodworking, camping, and traveling.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons Michael Campaign, of Dunkirk; Andrew Campaign, of Sheridan; a step daughter, Gina Valone, a brother, Wayne (Teresa) Campaign, of Texas; and a sister, Claudia (Bruce) Bowker, of Amaragosa Valley, Nevada.  Also surviving are many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces & nephews.  Besides his parents he was predeceased by a baby brother Richard Campaign and a granddaughter Christin Tibbetts.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Time and place to be announced.  The family suggests memorials may be made either to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 or to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, NY 13790.
