DUNKIRK: Vivian I. Seeley, 95, a resident of the Chautauqua Nursing & Rehab Center, Dunkirk, formerly of Forestville, died Friday, September 23rd, 2016 at her residence, following a short illness.
She was born in Gowanda, on March 25, 1921, the daughter of the late Robert and Clara (Benton) Bell. Mrs. Seeley was an avid bowler & pinochle player.
Survivors include three sons Randy (Lucia) Seeley, of Silver Creek; Willard (Doris) Seeley, of Irving; Jeffrey (Denise) Seeley, of Forestville; and a daughter, Bonnie Seeley Cornelius, of Ballston Spa, NY. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband William D. Seeley, whom she married on January 12, 1939 and who died June 14, 2010, by 2 sisters Thelma Catrone and Virginia Hancock and by a grandson Daniel Seeley.
Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Monday, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, from where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock, with Rev. David Watson, officiating. Interment will follow in Smith Mills Cemetery, Town of Hanover.
