SILVER CREEK: Lynn M. Shanahan, 59, of Rix Place, Silver Creek, died Friday, June 24th, 2016 at her residence, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Buffalo, on July 28, 1956, the daughter of Deryl (Mahoney) Ruth, of Conewango Valley and the late Ronald Ruth, Sr.
Mrs. Shanahan was a graduate of South Park High School and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Lake Shore Nursing Home for 17 years and for Absolut of Dunkirk, for 10 years. Her grandchildren were her favorite hobby.
Surviving besides her mother are her husband Michael R. Shanahan, of Silver Creek, whom she married on December 5, 1985, in West Seneca, two daughters, Tammi Smith, of Brant; Renee (Brian) Beadle, of Silver Creek; three sons Anthony (Michelle) Pacifici, Aaron (Jessica) Shanahan, Justin Shanahan, all of of Silver Creek; and a half sister, Dawn (Gian) Brown, of Las Vegas, NV. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Besides her father she was predeceased by a brother Ronald Ruth, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held from Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville, Tuesday, July 5th, 2016 at 11 o’clock.
