Obituary Notice – Carol M. Frederickson

IRVING:  Carol M. Frederickson, 80, of Versailles Road, Irving, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 16th, 2016, at her residence.  She was born in Silver Creek, on October 24, 1935, the daughter of the late Wilford and Bessie (Snyder) Moore.  Mrs. Frederickson was a graduate of Silver Creek Central School, Class of 1953.  After graduation, she worked for the former Forbes & Wagner, the former C&E, both in Silver Creek and the former Moench Tannery in Gowanda.  Mrs. Frederickson enjoyed her grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Survivors include five daughters, Sandra (Richard) Goddard, of Irving, Brenda Frederickson of Brockport, Lenora Weise, of Silver Creek, Lorraine (Steven) Tarkenton, of Chesapeake, Virginia, Barbara (Ronald) House, of Forestville and a sister, Arlene “Joy” (David) Clark, of Irving.  Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Richard A. (Corrina Hendel) Goddard, Holly (Randy) Lemke, Shannon Klancer, Richard B. (Jennifer) Klancer, Vanessa (Shannon) Longjohn, Daniel (Kathy) Wright and Matthew Poquadeck, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.  Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Harold Frederickson whom she married on July 4, 1953 in the Methodist Parsonage in Silver Creek and who died June 10, 1995.

Private Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Rathbun Cemetery, Irving.  The family suggests memorials may be made either to Versailles Volunteer Fire Department, 11851 Buffalo Street, Versailles, NY 14168 or to the Charity of one’s choice.
