Obituary Notice- Cassandra Leeann Knoop

KnoopCFORESTVILLE:  Cassandra Leeann Knoop, 18, of Center Street, Forestville, formerly of Kennedy, died unexpectedly, Friday, June 6th, 2014  in the Town of Hanover.  She was born in Springville on January 25, 1996, the daughter of James D. (Paula) Knoop, Sr. of Forestville and Bert (Chrissy A. Baker) DeVlieger, Jr., of Kennedy.
Ms. Knoop attended the GA Learning Center in Jamestown & Forestville Central School, and was scheduled to graduate from both this month.  She worked as a Crew member for McDonald’s in Fredonia and was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church Kennedy.  Ms. Knoop enjoyed her family, swimming, art, riding horses, writing poetry and loved animals & small children.
Survivors include three brothers, James D. Knoop, Jr., of North Tonawanda, Jordan R. Knoop, of Kennedy, Jeffrey F. Knoop, of Fredonia, five step brothers, Andrew Hooper, Jr., Robert  Hooper, Zachary Hooper, Bert (Melissa) DeVlieger, III, Joshua DeVlieger and two step sisters, Carrie (Demetrius) Daniels and Melissa (Tom) Swartz.  Also surviving are her paternal grandmother Lois B. Knoop of Amherst, maternal grandmother Shirley Baker of Kennedy and grandfather Norbert R. Smith of Forestville, several aunts, uncles & cousins.  She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather David C. Knoop and maternal grandfather Almond L. Baker, Sr.
Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock from the Forestville Wesleyan Church, Forestville, with Rev. Bruce M. Ellis, pastor and Rev. Michael Herdzik, pastor of New Beginnings Baptist Church, Kennedy officiating.  Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery.

    It isn’t fair she still had the rest of her life in front of her, she will be missed, and prayers go out to the family, my children will miss their cousin a great deal my kids always looked up to her and thought of her as a big sister, We will always keep you in our hearts, We love you cassie, Chrissy keep the faith that cassie is watching over you, she will always be in our presents, Love all of you.
