Silver Creek: Norman H. Sager, 82, of Silver Creek, died Thursday, July 23, 2026 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in the Town of Brant on March 18, 1944, the son of the late Harry and Jeanette (Bergey) Sager.
Norm was the proud Owner of Norm’s Garage in Irving for 45 years. He was a simple man who loved his garage and dogs.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 64 years, Elizabeth (Kwasnieswki) Sager of Silver Creek, a daughter Melodee (John) Muccigrosso of Orlando, FL, his son David (Kathy) Sager of Silver Creek, and a brother Barry Sager of Cattaraugus. Also surviving are a daughter-in-law Jodi Sager of Forestville and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son Eric S. Sager who died February 26, 2015, sister Donna Eileen Dailey who died December 31, 2009, his beloved fur baby “Misty Blue” and Guardian Angel “Dixon”.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut Street, Dunkirk, NY 14048.
