Dunkirk: Janice “Jan” Dolce, 72, a resident of Chautauqua Nursing & Rehab of Dunkirk, formerly of Forestville, died Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk. She was born in Dunkirk on August 12, 1952, the daughter of the late Raymond and Louise “Lois” (Rounds) Woodward.
Jan was a graduate of Silver Creek High School and worked as a Secretary for the former Record Agency in Forestville. She also worked as a Teller at the former Silver Creek Bank. Jan enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include her husband Joseph Dolce of Forestville, a son Jason Dolce, of Forestville, two sisters Tamara (Mark) Manly, of Orchard Park, Linda (Paul) Hill, of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and three brothers Thomas (Carol) Woodward, of Forestville, Scott Woodward, of Falconer, Douglas Woodward, of Forestville. Also surviving are two grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday morning, July 22nd at 11 o’clock in the Forestville Cemetery, Prospect Road, Forestville, with Rev. Michael Pollock, pastor of Gage Chapel Community Church, officiating. The family suggests memorials may be made to Forestville Fire Department, Inc., PO Box 299, Forestville, NY 14062.
