GERRY: Barbara “Barbie” A. Sujdak, 62, a resident of Heritage Village, Gerry, formerly of Forestville, died Friday, August 9th, 2024 at UPMC Chautauqua Hospital, Jamestown. She was born in Dunkirk on November 11, 1961, the daughter of the late Harry and Ellen (Prince) Sujdak.
Barbie loved playing with her weaving loom, doing etch-a-sketch, talking about food and golf cart rides. She enjoyed camping, spending time with her pets, visiting Point Gratiot in Dunkirk and other area parks.
Survivors include Nephews & Nieces Jeffrey (Robin) Barone of Forestville, who cared for her for approximately 9 years, Doug (Christine) Barone of South Wales, an aunt Emma Pfeiffer of Cheektowaga and great nieces & great nephews and several cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a sister Cindy J. Ersing.
Graveside Services will be held at Willowbrook Park Cemetery, Central Avenue, Dunkirk, Tuesday, August 13th at 11 o’clock. The family suggests memorials may be made to Heritage Village Rehab & Skilled Nursing Facility, in memory of Barbie, 4570 Route 60, Gerry, NY 14740.
