Lois E. Carter passed away peacefully on July 20, 2022, under the loving care of Hospice. Daughter of the late Herbert and Edith Carter; sister of the late Ruth Tillou and Naomi DeFries; looving aunt of Martha White, Michele Altherr, Greg and ?Guy Tillou, DVM; many great nieces & nephews, and her late nephews John Jr. and Andrew DeFries. Dearest friend of Lois Taylor, Eunice Francis, the entire Courtney family and many neighbors, former coworkers at Fisher Price and Vesuvius, all of her physicians and caregivers, and many other friends she met along her journey through life.
Lois was a lifetime member of The Remnant of Christ’s Ecclesia and a devoted believer in God. She spread His goodness over the years through her volunteer work at Children’s Hospital and Hospice, visiting children and people in need of “a bit of cheering up” with her beloved bichons, Bailey Cricket and Jamie Jiggers. A special thank you to the kind-hearted caregivers of The Greenfields and Hospice who guided Lois on her final journey.
