FORESTVILLE: Robert S. Richmond, 68, of Rt. 83 Forestville, died Wednesday, January 13th, 2021 at Buffalo General Hospital, following a brief illness. He was born in Gowanda, on February 24, 1952, the son of the late Malcolm Richmond and Eva (Whitford) Richmond Dingeldey.
Robert worked for Cherry Creek Woodcraft in both the Cherry Creek and South Dayton plants, for 24 years from 1990-2014. He had a great love for woodworking and gardening.
Survivors include his wife Marguerite (Winslow) Richmond, of Forestville, whom he married on August 21, 1971, in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Silver Creek, two daughters, Sheila Marie Richmond, of Forestville; Shelby Ann (Roy) Daniels, of Portland; two sisters, Donna (Mike) Webber, of Cattaraugus; Jane Smith, of Tennessee; and two brothers, Patrick (Chris) Richmond, of North Carolina; Fleury (Robin) Richmond, of Forestville. Also surviving are four grandchildren Derek Thompson, Parker Briggs, Alex Thompson, Harlow Daniels, two step grandchildren Jacolin & Josie Daniels and several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant brother and infant sister.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
