SILVER CREEK: Thomas “Buzz” B. Howlett, Sr., 62, of Robinson Street, Silver Creek, died Friday, April 28th, 2017, at Buffalo General Hospital. He was born in St. Mary’s, PA on October 13, 1954, the son of Betty (Gee) Howlett, of Silver Creek and the late Charles Howlett, Sr.
Mr. Howlett served in the U.S. Marines as a Pvt during the Vietnam War and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Marksman Badge and Pistol Sharpshooter Badge. He worked as a Cooks Helper for the former Carriage House, Fredonia, for 12 years retiring in May 2012. Mr. Howlett enjoyed hunting, fishing, hockey and was an Assistant Leader for Boy Scout Troop #252, Silver Creek.
Survivors include his wife Cynthia J. (Grisanti) Howlett, of Silver Creek, whom he married May 14, 1994, in Sheridan, a daughter, Belinda (Brian) Johnson, of Cherry Creek; a son, Thomas Howlett, Jr., of Silver Creek; two sisters, Charlene (Charlie Clark) Bell, of Sheridan; Penny (Barry) Davis, of Silver Creek; two brothers, Charles (Donna) Howlett, Jr., of Dunkirk; and Randy (Wendy Jones) Howlett, of Fredonia. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren Cassie & Dominick and several nieces & nephews.
Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Monday, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, from where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock, with Rev. Bruce M. Ellis, pastor of the Forestville Wesleyan Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery, where graveside military services will be conducted by members of J. Carter Knapp American Legion Post #953, Forestville.

Cindy and Thomas, My heartfelt condolences go to both of you. I cant begin to imagine the pain you are both feeling in this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. Remember, happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one remembers to turn on the light.
