{"id":976,"date":"2015-12-05T09:43:32","date_gmt":"2015-12-05T14:43:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/?p=976"},"modified":"2015-12-05T09:43:32","modified_gmt":"2015-12-05T14:43:32","slug":"obituary-notice-kenneth-tylock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/?p=976","title":{"rendered":"Obituary Notice &#8211; Kenneth Tylock"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DUNKIRK:\u00a0 Kenneth Tylock, 76, of Willowbrook Avenue, Dunkirk, formerly of Westfield &amp; Forestville, died Thursday, December 3rd, 2015 at the Chautauqua Nursing &amp; Rehab Center, Dunkirk.\u00a0 He was born in the Town of Arkwright, on March 5, 1939, the son of the late Benjamin and Ethel (Burgun) Tylock.<\/p>\n<p>He attended Forestville Central School and served in Air Force from 1957 to 1961.\u00a0 Mr. Tylock worked in the Engineering &amp; Planning Dept. for the Department of Defense, Dept. of Navy in Quonset Point Naval Air Station and Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard, Portsmouth, NH for a total of 28 1\/2 years.\u00a0 He was a member of the Methodist Church, Eliot, ME., where he served on the Board of Directors and also belonged to the First Christian Church, Kittery Point, ME, where he served as a Deacon.\u00a0 Mr. Tylock was a member of American Legion Post #59, Fredonia, Dunkirk Moose Lodge #89 and he had a love for God&#8217;s creatures-especially cats.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife Jean (Dunning) Goodwin Tylock, of Dunkirk, whom he married January 17, 1995, in Eliot, Maine, a son, Kenneth J., (Christine) Tylock, of Mechanicville, NY, a daughter, Kristina (Paul Bowes) Tylock, of North Hampton, NH, two step sons Justin (Linda) Goodwin, of Dover, NH, Brent (Marie) Goodwin, of Eliot, ME, two brothers, Robert (Helen) Tylock, of Rochester, Walter (Nancy) Tylock, of Fredonia, two sisters, Linda (Douglas) Randall, of Arizona and Dianne, (Daniel) Dennison, of Fredonia.\u00a0 Also surviving are 4 grandchildren Kathryn &amp; Angela Tylock, Cameron &amp; Christopher Bowes and 5 step grandchildren Brittany Shea, Jackie, Kenneth &amp; Nicole Goodwin and Kayla Gaskell and several nieces &amp; nephews.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by his 1st wife Alice Elizabeth (Pendergrace) Tylock, whom he married July 30, 1960 in Epping Community Church, New Hampshire, by 2 sisters Joyce Austin and Marie Heeder, a nephew Curtis Tylock and a step son Curtis Goodwin.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at the Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Monday morning from 9-11 am, from where Funeral Services will follow at 11 o&#8217;clock, with Rev. James D.
