{"id":948,"date":"2015-10-15T18:41:29","date_gmt":"2015-10-15T22:41:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/?p=948"},"modified":"2015-10-15T18:41:29","modified_gmt":"2015-10-15T22:41:29","slug":"obituary-notice-clement-popielarz-jr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/?p=948","title":{"rendered":"Obituary Notice &#8211; Clement Popielarz, Jr."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/PopielarzC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-949\" alt=\"PopielarzC\" src=\"https:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/PopielarzC-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>FORESTVILLE:\u00a0 Clement Popielarz, Jr., 74, of Forestville, passed away Wednesday, October 14th, 2015 at Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk.\u00a0 He was born in Dunkirk, on February 19, 1941, the son of the late Clarence and Helen (Daminski) Popielarz.<\/p>\n<p>He was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1959 and served in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War.\u00a0 Mr. Popielarz worked as a Mechanic for the former Dunkirk Ice Cream, Dunkirk.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Judy (Gabel) Popielarz of Forestville, four daughters, Cynthia (Eric) Elliott, of Fredonia, Charlene Green, of North Carolina, Tamela Griffen, of North Carolina, Victoria (Jackie) Jackson, of North Carolina, a son, Mark (Barbara) Popielarz, of Forestville, a sister, Natalie (Carl) Hoffmeyer, of Pennsylvania, two brothers, Eugene (Kathy) Evans, of Missouri and Michael (Susan) Popielarz, of South Carolina.\u00a0 Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces &amp; nephews and great nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at the Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Saturday from 2-4 pm, from where Military Services will be conducted by members of J.
