Roehner, 80, &#8220;The Flower Lady&#8221; of Pearl Street, Forestville, died Sunday, October 11th, 2015 at Sisters of Charity Hospital, Buffalo, after a short illness.\u00a0 She was a life-long resident of Forestville and was born in Silver Creek,\u00a0 on October 4, 1935, the daughter of the late Walter &#8220;Ed&#8221; and Dorothy D. (Ward) Sausaman.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Roehner was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1953.\u00a0 She worked at the Office of Admissions for Fredonia State University and later was the first female school bus driver for Forestville Central School, where she worked for 22 years.\u00a0 Mrs. Roehner was also a cheerleading advisor for 5 years at Forestville Central School.\u00a0 She was an avid sports fan &amp; especially enjoyed the Yankees &amp; Bills, was a longtime bowler at the former Forest Lanes, Forestville and combined her artistic talent along with her passion for flowers into a 40 year business, making &amp; selling silk flower arrangements.\u00a0 Her &#8220;Creations by Lorraine&#8221; silk plants continue to decorate many offices &amp; homes throughout Western New York.\u00a0 Mrs. Roehner was a longtime vendor at craft shows throughout Western New York.\u00a0 She married Edward Roehner on August 9, 1958 &amp; shared 57 years until his death on June 3, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include 3 sons, John of North Charleston, SC, Rob (Maria) of Silver Creek, Mark (Joyce) of Chuluota, FL, 2 daughters, Sandra (Kerry) Vickers of North Charleston, SC, Traci (Edward) Domenico of Forestville and sisters Betty Lodinsky of Cherry Valley, NY and Bonnie (Edward) Ellman of Rochester .\u00a0 Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces &amp; nephews.\u00a0 Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother George Sausaman.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at the Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Wednesday from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 pm and on Thursday from 1-2 pm, from where Funeral Services will follow at 2 o&#8217;clock, with Rev. David Watson officiating.\u00a0 Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery.\u00a0 The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Forestville Fire Dept. Emergency &amp; Rescue Squad, Chestnut Street, Forestville, NY 14062.
