ROCHESTER:\u00a0 Alice R. Redband, 94, of Denice Road, Rochester, formerly of Fredonia, died Tuesday, June 30th, 2015 at Hildebrandt Hospice Health Care Center, Rochester.\u00a0 She was born in Meadville, PA on September 8, 1920, the daughter of the late Claude and Josephine (Baldwin) Hines.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Redband was a Pet Groomer and owner of the former Alice Redband Pet Grooming Fredonia., for 18 years, retiring in 1986.\u00a0 She was a member of Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church Fredonia, and loved dogs, knitting, crocheting and her family.<\/p>\n
Survivors include a son, Larry (Carol) Redband, of Batavia and a daughter, JoAnne Van Buskirk, of Rochester.\u00a0 Also surviving are 6 grandchildren Julie (Nathan) Varland, Thomas, Timothy, Lisa, Jeffrey Redband and Brandon Van Buskirk, 4 great grandchildren, 1 niece & 2 nephews.\u00a0 Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Arthur F. Redband, Jr., who died January 21, 2010 and by a brother Frederick LeBarron.<\/p>\n
