Bentley, was born March 29, 1954, to the late Jason and Myrtle (Thomas) Bennett, in Corry, PA.\u00a0 She married her best friend and love of her life, Mark, on September 9, 1989.\u00a0 Terry went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015, after battling pancreatic and liver cancer.<\/p>\n<p>She was a graduate of Fredonia High School, Class of 1972 and Erie Business Center in 1974 with an Associates Degree.\u00a0 After having worked for 38 years (22 years at Welch&#8217;s in Westfield and 16 years at Carriage House in Fredonia), she thoroughly enjoyed her non-working life.\u00a0 She often commented that it took her 38 years of working to figure out that not working was the greatest!\u00a0 If only her and Mark could have known retirement joy together!\u00a0 Maybe they did not grow old together, but they grew up together as Terry really did marry the &#8220;boy next door!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Terry was an active member of the Laona United Methodist Church and loved her church family.\u00a0 She also enjoyed golfing, camping and motorcycling with her husband.\u00a0 Each May, they traveled to a small church in Tionesta, PA to be blessed for the riding season along with hundreds of other motorcyclists.\u00a0 Most vacations were spent at their camp, &#8220;Camp Little Running Water&#8221;, which was their piece of Heaven on earth!\u00a0 Each June for 10 years, she was team captain for one of the teams supporting the American Cancer Society&#8217;s Relay for Life event held at SUNY Fredonia.\u00a0 Terry loved all living animals but especially her house cats and barn cats-they were her joy!<\/p>\n<p>Surviving besides her husband are sister-in-laws Sue (Bob) Barresi, Cheryl (Chris) Brunecz, former sister-in-laws Jean Bennett &amp; Frances (Ron) Stahley, brother-in-law Steve (Deb) Bentley, nephews Jason F. Bennett, Jason J. (Amy) Bennett, Mike Barresi, Matt Bentley, Jake, Nick &amp; Timmy Brunecz, nieces Laurie Bennett, Tracy Tyma, Kathy Ramey and Sarah Barresi, 2 great nieces Julia &amp; Emma Bennett and several cousins.\u00a0 She was also blessed with many, many wonderful friends whom she loved dearly.\u00a0 Besides her parents she was predeceased by her 2 brothers Gary &#8220;Bull Ram&#8221; &amp; Don Bennett, her father-in-law Richard Bentley and mother-in-law Irene Bentley.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at the Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Friday from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 pm.\u00a0 Memorial Services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o&#8217;clock from the Laona United Methodist Church, 9636 Wilson Road, Fredonia, with Pastor Mike Spell, officiating.\u00a0 Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Laona Cemetery, Fredonia.<\/p>\n<p>The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Laona United Methodist Church, 9636 Wilson Road, Fredonia, NY 14063 or the American Cancer Society&#8217;s Relay for Life of Northern Chautauqua County, particularly her team, Terry&#8217;s Troopers, in care of Emily Marciniak, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy, Amherst, NY 14228 or the Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E.
