Maxson, 68, of Pearl Street, Forestville, died Sunday, January 25th, 2015 at TLC\/HN-Lake Shore Hospital, Irving, following a lengthy illness.\u00a0 He was born in Kenmore, NY on September 16, 1946, the son of the late Erford and Agnes (Raye) Maxson.<\/p>\n<p>He was a graduate of Kenmore West High School, Class of 1964.\u00a0 Mr. Maxson served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, performed in the Army Band, played in NATO TAP II and was in the Army National Guard.\u00a0 He worked as a Principal Stock Clerk for Buffalo Public Schools, for 20 years.\u00a0 Mr. Maxson attended the Forestville United Methodist Church and was a member of J. Carter Knapp American Legion Post #953, Forestville.\u00a0 Music, especially jazz, and pool were his life, he wrote &amp; sang music and recorded a song for a TV program.\u00a0 Mr. Maxson loved building with Legos, enjoyed playing Dungeons &amp; Dragons and chess.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife Barbara (Marczynski) Maxson, of Forestville, whom he married on February 18, 1995, in South Buffalo, a daughter, Jennifer (Joseph) Aguglia, II, of Forestville and a half sister, Karen Lundsford, of Niagara Falls.\u00a0 Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Joseph Aguglia, III, Jewel Melody Aguglia and 2 nephews.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at the Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Thursday from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 pm.\u00a0 Funeral Services will be held Friday morning at 10 o&#8217;clock from the Forestville United Methodist Church, 3 Park Street, Forestville, with Rev. James D. Hankey, pastor officiating.\u00a0 Interment will follow in St. Joseph&#8217;s Cemetery, Town of Sheridan, where Military Graveside Services will be conducted by members of J. Carter Knapp American Legion Post #953, Forestville.<\/p>\n<p>The family suggests memorial donations may be made either to the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, 7540 North Gale Street, Westfield, NY 14787 or to Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E.
