FORESTVILLE:\u00a0 Franklin Grisanti, 85, of Rt. 39, Forestville, died Monday, December 29th, 2014 at Gowanda Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.\u00a0 He was born in Silver Creek on August 5, 1929, the son of the late Anthony and Josephine (Raymondo) Grisanti.<\/p>\n
Mr. Grisanti was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1945.\u00a0 He worked as a School Bus Driver for Forestville Central School, for 40 years and owned & operated a Grape & Tomato Farm in Forestville.\u00a0 Mr. Grisanti enjoyed bowling & camping.<\/p>\n
Survivors include his wife Neldine B. (Halpainy) Grisanti, whom he married 65 yrs ago on April 9, 1949, in Silver Creek, a daughter, Jo Ann Grisanti, of Forestville, three sons Charles (Donna) Grisanti, of Sheridan, Anthony Grisanti and Gary Grisanti, both of Forestville.\u00a0 Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.<\/p>\n
Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Sunday from 4-7 pm, from where A Catholic Burial Service will be held Monday morning at 11 o’clock, with Rev. Mark Wolski, of St. Rose of Lima RC Church officiating.\u00a0 Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery.<\/p>\n
