Scott, 83, a resident of St. Vincent&#8217;s Home, Dunkirk, died Friday, March 14th, 2014 at Brooks Memorial Hospital.\u00a0 He was born in Dunkirk on April 20, 1930, the son of the late Patsy L. and Emily (Wenge) Scott.<\/p>\n<p>He was a graduate of Dunkirk High School, Class of 1949 and served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt. in the Korean War.\u00a0 Mr. Scott worked as a Master Carpenter for the former King Windows, Dunkirk, for 35 years until the company closed.\u00a0 He was a life member of Dunkirk Moose Lodge #89.\u00a0 Mr. Scott was a magician with wood, enjoyed picking blueberries &amp; was a loving grandfather.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include a son, Robert Scott and a daughter, Diane (Gordon) Haight, both of Fredonia.\u00a0 Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Steven (Sarah) Haight of North Carolina, Kalie Haight, Melissa Wills, Greg Haight, Laurie Berkshire and William Berkshire, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces &amp; nephews in Germany.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Helga (Jung) Scott, whom he was married to for over 54 years and who died March 14, 2008, a sister Patricia Scott and a daughter in law Jean Scott.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at the Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Saturday afternoon from 1-3:30 pm, during that time, A Catholic Prayer Service will be held at 2 o&#8217;clock, with Rev.
