Lee, 91, a resident of the Chautauqua County Home, Temple Road, Dunkirk, formerly of Forestville, died Thursday, February 6th, 2014 at her residence.\u00a0 She was born in Hamburg on November 3, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Hessler) Stanage.<\/p>\n<p>She was a graduate of Hamburg High School, Class of 1940 and a graduate of Buffalo State in 1944.\u00a0 Mrs. Lee worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Buffalo Public School Buffalo, for 32 years, teaching at Schools #53, #31, &amp; #56.\u00a0 She was a member of St. Rose of Lima RC Church Forestville, where she was a former Director of Education and won the St. Joseph&#8217;s worker award from the Diocese of Buffalo and was a retired member of the Buffalo Teacher&#8217;s Federation.\u00a0 Mrs. Lee loved traveling &amp; sewing.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include a son, Perry\u00a0 H. (Linney) Lee, Jr., of Frankfurt, KY, a daughter, Mary Ellen Decker, of Dunkirk and two sisters, Ann Schaller, of Oregon and Ethel Wilson, of California.\u00a0 Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces &amp; nephews.\u00a0 Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Perry H. Lee whom she had been married to for 58 years and who died October 31, 2002 and by an infant son Charles Lee.<\/p>\n<p>There will be no visitation observed.\u00a0 A Memorial Mass will be held from at St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Forestville at a later date.\u00a0 Time &amp; day to be announced.\u00a0 Private Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Prospect Lawn Cemetery, Hamburg.<\/p>\n<p>The family suggests memorial donations may be made either to the Dunkirk Pet Pantry, 5267 Van Buren Road, Dunkirk, NY 14048 or to Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E.
