Stebbins, 89, of Main Road, Sheridan and Largo, Florida, died Sunday, February 2nd, 2014, following a brief illness, at Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk.\u00a0 He was born in Silver Creek on April 21, 1924, the son of the late Charles T and Marie C. (Nordblum) Stebbins.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Stebbins was a graduate of Silver Creek High School, Class of 1942 and was a graduate of Bryant &amp; Stratton in Buffalo with an AAS Degree in Accounting.\u00a0 He served in the U.S. Army Air Force with the 1080th as a Cpl in WW II and received the Distinguished Unit Badge, European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal &amp; Good Conduct Medal.\u00a0 Mr. Stebbins worked as an Accountant for Welch Foods, Westfield, for 28 years and was a member of Samuel Cimino VFW Post #6472, Silver Creek, the Disabled American Veterans, Charles Tinley Memorial Post #142, Dunkirk, American Legion Post #7 Turner Brandon, Clearwater, FL, Sheridan United Methodist Church and a member of the Sheridan Happy Seniors.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife Ruth E. (Richter) Burmaster Stebbins, whom he married on June 11, 1977, in Sheridan, a son, Paul E. Stebbins, of New York City, a daughter, Julie A. Stebbins, of Mount Tremper, NY, two step daughters, Lucinda K. Coon, of Fredonia, Bonnie J. Burmaster, of Hamburg, a step son, Gary S. Burmaster, of Sheridan, two brothers, William C. Stebbins, of Plant City, FL and Richard L. Stebbins, of Trenton, NJ.\u00a0 Also surviving are 2 grandchildren Julie and Wesley Stebbins both of Arlington, Texas, 1 step granddaughter Bethany Margolis of Silver Creek, 1 step great grandson Isaac Evan Margolis and several nieces &amp; nephews.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife S. Ruth (Trudnowski) Stebbins, by a brother Donald L.
