Kline, Sr."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FORESTVILLE:\u00a0 Martin D. Kline, Sr., 91, of King Road, Forestville, died unexpectedly Sunday, October 20th, at TLC\/HN-Lake Shore Hospital, Irving.\u00a0 He was born in Buffalo, on June 14, 1922, the son of the late William and Pearl (Berger) Kline.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Kline served in the U.S. Army Air Force as a Pfc in WW II, receiving the Bronze Star and many other medals.\u00a0 He worked as a Boilermaker for the former Bethlehem Steel, Corp Lackawanna, for 29 years retiring in 1981.\u00a0 Mr. Kline was a member of J. Carter Knapp American Legion Post #953, Forestville.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include two daughters Linda (Stan) Jennings, of Hamburg and Charlene Papoi, of Corfu and a son, Martin D. (Hilda) Kline, Jr., of Orchard Park.\u00a0 Also surviving are 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Eleanor L. (Robinson) Kline, whom he married March 2, 1946 in the former St. Mary&#8217;s Church in Buffalo and who died December 27, 2012 and by a son-in-law Larry Papoi.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at the Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm.\u00a0 Private Services will be at the convenience of family and Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Town of Hamburg, NY.\u00a0 To post condolences go to www.rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FORESTVILLE:\u00a0 Martin D.
