Domenico, Sr., 92, of King Road Forestville, also a short term resident of St. Columban&#8217;s on the Lake, Silver Creek, died Saturday, September 21st, at Buffalo General Hospital, following a short illness.\u00a0 He was born in Rochester, on October 7, 1920, the son of the late Anthony and Rose (Geraci) Domenico.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Domenico was a graduate of Silver Creek High School, Class of 1938 and was a vegetable &amp; fruit farmer.\u00a0 He was the former owner of the Hanford Market, he also owned the former Sunset Frozen Foods Canning Factory in Fredonia and had a produce route delivering to area stores &amp; restaurants.\u00a0 He was a member of the former St. John Bosco RC Church, Sheridan, was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Social Club of Silver Creek and the Knights of Columbus.\u00a0 Mr. Domenico was a former member of the Forestville School Board, serving for 7 years, was a director for Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Center and was a past member of the former Silver Creek Lions Club.\u00a0 He enjoyed old cars, traveling &amp; his grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include two daughters, Maureen Daugherty, of Forestville, Donna Marie (Thomas) Murray, of Princeton, NJ, two sons Edward F. (Traci) Domenico, Jr., Timothy P. (Sylvia) Domenico, both of Forestville and one sister, Betty Jane Muscarella, of Erie, PA.\u00a0 Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 1 expected great grandson and 2 great-great grandchildren.\u00a0 Also surviving are his dear friend Ethel Kowalewski of Silver Creek and several nieces &amp; nephews.\u00a0 Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Marion J. (Olsen) Domenico, whom he married December 12, 1945 in St. Ann&#8217;s RC Church, Buffalo and who died December 3, 2003, by an infant son Christopher Domenico, a son Michael Domenico, who died May 23, 2008, a brother Albert Domenico and a sister Rita Gugino.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call Tuesday evening from 7-9 pm and on Wednesday from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 pm at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville, from where Prayer Services will be held Thursday morning at 9:15 o&#8217;clock, followed by A Mass of Christian Burial from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Central Avenue, Silver Creek, at 10 o&#8217;clock.\u00a0 Interment will follow in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, Town of Hanover.\u00a0 A Knight&#8217;s of Columbus Service will be held Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm in the Funeral Home.<\/p>\n<p>The family suggests memorials be made either to the Forestville Fire Dept.
