Snyder, 77, of Versailles Road, Irving, died Saturday, May 25th, at Elderwood Health Care at Lakewood, Hamburg, following a short illness.\u00a0 She was born in Buffalo, on November 14, 1935, the daughter of the late Gerald and Alice (Hughes) Roetzer.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Snyder was a graduate of Silver Creek Central School, Class of 1953 and she along with her late husband, William M. Snyder, whom she married Sept. 4, 1954 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Silver Creek and who died Oct. 26, 2010, owned &amp; operated a small grape farm in Irving, for over 40 years.\u00a0 She was a very active member of St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Forestville and was a member of the Red Hat Society.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include a son, William (Kay) Snyder, of Apalachin, NY and a sister, Alice (William) Harford, of Silver Creek.\u00a0\u00a0 Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Sara, Peter &amp; Chrissy, Brett, Sharon &amp; Cynthia Snyder, 2 great grandchildren Aleisha Stevens &amp; Casey Cheresnowsky, 1 great-great granddaughter Ellie Mae and several nieces &amp; nephews. \u00a0Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a son Bruce Maynard Snyder and by a sister Mary Lou Ross.<\/p>\n<p>There will be no visitation observed.\u00a0 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning (June 7th) at 10 o&#8217;clock, from St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Center Street, Forestville, with Rev. Daniel F. Fiebelkorn, pastor officiating.\u00a0 Private Interment will be in Rathbun Cemetery, Town of Hanover.<\/p>\n<p>The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Faith Community of Our Lady of Mt.
