Bissell, 66, of Irving, died Friday, October 3, 2025 at his residence, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on October 21, 1958, the son of the late Lawrence and Sarah (Merrick) Bissell.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; He was a graduate of Pioneer High School and served in the Air Force. Jeffrey worked as a Forklift Operator for the former Cliffstar Corporation, the former Cott Beverages and Refresco in Dunkirk for approximately 20 years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing &amp; doing jig-saw puzzles.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Survivors include wife of 44 years, Katherine (Kohler) Bissell of Irving, whom he married on July 11, 1981 in Forestville, a daughter Jessica Groff, of Rapid City, SD, a son Robert Bissell, of Irving, two sisters LouAnn Conway, of Bel Air, MD and Kim (Mike) Sommers, of Angola. Also surviving are two grandchildren; Trinity Groff and Aidan Mancuso and several nieces &amp; nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister Edith Sherwood.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Friends are welcome to call at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Wednesday from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 PM. There will be no funeral services.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&nbsp; The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
