SILVER CREEK: June E. Krupa, 89, of Old Main Road, Silver Creek, passed away Friday, March 15th, 2024 at Buffalo General Medical Center, following a short illness. She was born in the Town of Sheridan on July 18, 1934, the daughter of the late Richard and Lucy (Robinson) Eacker.<\/p>\n
June was a graduate of Silver Creek Central School, worked as a Nurse’s Aide at the former Chautauqua County Home, Dunkirk, from where she retired after approximately 20 years. Previously, she worked for the former Lake Shore Hospital, Irving and provided private nursing care to many in the area. June enjoyed spending time with her family.<\/p>\n
Survivors include four sons; Peter (Vicki) Krupa, of Forestville; Joseph (Sharon) Krupa, of Cassadaga; Raymond Krupa, of Silver Creek; and Dan (Kim) Krupa, of Silver Creek. Also surviving are five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers Richard & Robert Eacker.<\/p>\n
Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Tuesday from 11 AM – 1 PM, where Funeral Services will follow at 1 o’clock, with Rev. David Watson, pastor of the Sheridan United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Silver Creek.<\/p>\n
The family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.<\/p>\n
